Moving Labor Service- EK Business Solutions offers affordable and outstanding services to our valued customers. We are a moving labor company whose number one priority is your satisfaction. We are a family owned and operated business, residing in Ephrata , PA. Our staff is friendly, reliable, and ready to help you. You do not have to do-it-yourself in order to save money moving. Let us do all the back breaking work AND save you hundreds of dollars in the process.
EK Business Solutions provides commercial and residential labor services including, loading and unloading any type of truck, pod, container, or anything else you may have. We also offer packing and unpacking for your office, home, or rental property, and move-out cleaning.
What We Provide:
1-4 man crew of expierenced movers with company uniform. No day laborers.
Loading/Unloading of all your items including wrapping of furniture in furniture blankets or pads. (We can supply moving blankets for local moves if requested prior to move date. Otherwise all pads/blankets must be supplied by customer.)
Crew will bring all dollies and hand trucks and any other simple tools needed to complete your move
Disassembly and reassembly of any furniture taken apart during the move
Straps and tie downs. (local moves only)

Sorry but at this time we DO NOT move pianos
There is a $20 travel fee charged for all moves within 70 miles. Any move that farther than 70 miles one way will be a $30 travel fee.
There is a 3 hour minimum required for all moves

Moving Labor Liability Agreement:
We will cover 60 cents per pound any item physically dropped by our laborers.
1. EK Business Solutions shall in no way be responsible for the working condition of electronic equipment, grandfather clocks, or any other piece of mechanical equipment.
2. EK Business Solutions will not be responsible for damage caused by non-routine moving including but not limited to, standing pieces on end, sharp turns, over-crowded work areas, difficult stairways, snags and sharp edges in work areas and doorways, handing over balconies, railings, etc., tight squeezes, and damage caused by weather.
3. EK Business Solutions will not be responsible for damage to property including but not limited to scuff marks on walls ceilings or floors, holes in walls, or any other damage from moving furniture through tight hallways, stairways, sharp corners, narrow passage ways, ect.
4. EK Business Solutions shall not be responsible for damage resulting when moving household items that have deteriorated such as but not limited to lamp shades, mattresses, electrical wiring, etc.
5. EK Business Solutions is not be responsible for glass in any form or damage resulting from glass breakage. This applies to porcelain and ceramic items, also.
6. EK Business Solutions shall not be responsible for damage to waterbeds or any subsequent damage. We claim no expertise as waterbed technicians.
7. EK Business Solutions shall not be responsible for damage to items requiring special instructions if customer fails to provide such instructions including, but not limited to, disassembly or assembly of said items and any special preparation required.
8. EK Business Solutions may use dollies to move heavy objects such as but not limited to appliances, items over 300 lbs., etc. Any floor surfaces including but not limited to parquet, hardwood, ceramic, marble, entrance halls, etc. and any damage that may result to soft floors, such as, but not limited to, indentation, scuffmarks, etc., are not the responsibility of EK Business Solutions. If floor can be pulled by thumbnail, we are not responsible for damage.
9. EK Business Solutions cannot be responsible for dents or scratches on major appliances. They are covered by a thin metal that has an extreme affinity to dent and scratch.
10. EK Business Solutions will not move any fish tank, aquarium, or any other animal cage with the animal still inside. It will be the customers responsibility to move those items themselves.
11. EK Business Solutions will not be responsible for any damages to furniture made of partical board or ikea type items. Once that furniture is assembled it is recommended that it not be moved unless disassembled.
What We WILL NOT Load On A Truck:
Any loose items that are not packed or in a sealed box will not be loaded onto a truck. Boxes that are not sealed will also not be loaded.
Any kind of hazardous material, motor oil, propane tanks.
No live animals.
No motor vehicels of any kind.
No flat screen tv's that do not have a box or any kind of protection.
No glass without any kind of protection.
No firearms or ammunition of any kind.

* ALL DAMAGES MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 48 HOURS AND YOU MUST PROVIDE PICTURES OF DAMAGES TO HAVE A VALID CLAIM
